ABOUT THE ARTIST
Waratah Lahy has produced a varied collection of works, all pertaining to a common interrogation of the way in which we perceive the world. Throughout 2018 Lahy has won the M16 Art Space Drawing Award and been selected as a finalist in the Grace Cossington Smith Art Award and the Splash McClelland Contemporary Watercolour Award. Lahy produced two solo shows throughout 2017: Everyday at MAY SPACE and Three Hundred and Sixty Six at Canberra Contemporary Art Space. Recently she has also been curated into Celebration: 20 years of collecting visual art at CMAG at Canberra Museum + Art Gallery (2018), the 45th Muswellbrook Art Prize at Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre (2018), Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre (2017), and Pareidolia: cloud gazing at the Megalo Print Studio (2017).
